Wiring Guide for 4 Speed Resistors
This blower is supplied with a 4 speed resistor pack allowing it to be operated at low, medium, high and max speed settings. Please ensure the fan switch can handle the current draw at maximum power. For 4 speeds you will need a 5 position switch (low, medium, high, max, off) using wire size of at least 2.5mm²

SPAL 4 Speed Resistor Contacts
- Contact MOTOR should be connected to the +ve terminal on the blower motor with the other terminal on the motor leading to GROUND
- Contact 4+ on the resistor should be connected to the MAX setting on the swtich (+ve supply)
- Contact 3+ on the resistor should be connected to the HIGH setting on the swtich (+ve supply)
- Contact 2+ on the resistor should be connected to the MEDIUM setting on the swtich (+ve supply)
- Contact 1+ on the resistor should be connected to the LOW setting on the swtich (+ve supply)
